Going Red

I’ve always wanted to be a red head. I think it all started with Anne of Green Gables… I wanted her hair.

It looks like I wasn’t the only one, in an interview with ‘Lucky’, Christina Hendricks told them “I was obsessed with Anne of Green Gables, so I wanted red hair.”

Anywhoodle, this week I decided if I wanted red hair so badly, I should just get red hair… and I did.

I LOVE IT! I feel extra sassy and fun :)

    GORGEOUS! I love it! I died my hair auburn once over ten years ago, and now it's impossible to get out. Apparently I had "red tones" in my hair naturally and that brought it out. Now they can never get it to it's normal dark brown without getting a red tone. Grrr!
    I find the John Freida line extremely helpful for maintaining color- they have a blonde, brunette and redhead line. Try that- I LOVE it!

    Fun!!!! Enjoy the red! I'm adoring being a blonde again. I've been using the Loreal EverPure line for my hair and I love it (sulfate-free). It really kept the brilliance in through 3 months with no touch-ups. My colorist was actually amazed!

    @Jessica - My naturally color is fairly dark as well (your's *may* be a touch darker), that's why went with a dark auburn. DO IT! ;-)

    @Kimberly Michelle - I'll have to look into the Loreal EverPure. The sulfate-free thing is a big plus. P.S. I LOVE your blonde.
