Anyway, the point of this is to say that I'm back and I have a new post series I'm going to call "Trader Joe's Tuesdays", where I'll post about a item at Trader Joe's we like, or another TJ's shopper will guest post.
I figured for the first post I'd go with an obvious choice - Two Buck Chuck aka Charles Shaw Wine. You guys, this wine has been $2 since I was in high school! Seriously, the first time I remember someone talking about Two Buck Chuck was out our family friend Super Bowl XXIX party in 1995! And, I'm sure it was around before then. What can you buy now that you could buy for the same price in 1995?
Also, you can get a case for $24. One time Hubs and I bought a case of Sauvignon Blanc and the handle on the box broke when we pulled it out of the car. We lost 4 bottles of wine, it was sad, but we still had 8 bottles of wine for $24! That's still $3 a bottle people!
The moral of this story is: If you're a Trader Joe's newbie, know this: Buy some Two Buck Chuck, it's great weekday wine.
Have you ever tried Two Buck Chuck? Do you think it's worth the $2?
Are you interested in guest posting on this series? If so, please contact me with your item.

Stupid Pennsylvania and their stupid liquor laws. No wine anywhere except a state store :(
Welcome back to blogging!! I'm excited about this blg series....we're getting a Trader Joe's later this year!
@Jill - I had no idea Pennsylvania was like Utah, with state liquor stores. Don't worry, the next post will be about food :)
@Amy - Thank you! I'm so excited for your first TJ's hopefully I can start a list for you first trip.
I dropped two bottles in the parking lot at work (vinegar and salad dressing) and Trader Joe's replaced them. I went right back and the manager threw in flowers and said "have a better day." I have a friend who works at TJ's for the health insurance (he is an artist [singer] by trade) and he says they do that all the time. It's in their policy.
We had two TJ's open in the Kansas City metro on one day. The store on the Missouri side (right on state line) has wine, but the Kansas store does not. i work 2 miles from the KS store so I don't get too much 2 buck chuck, but everything else is so fabulous.
I love the store. If you ever want a guest post, just let me know. Glad you are back. :)
Oh, yeah. It's $2.99 per bottle here. Still cheap.
@completelyrandomsally - I think they are $2.99 in Nevada too. My IL's live in UT near NV, so they drive to NV to go to TJ's... but they have us bring them cases of 2 Buck Chuck when we visit because it's 3 Buck Chuck at their closet TJ's.
That is good to know about them replacing things you break. We thought about taking the box back & telling them what happened, but when we realized it was still $3 a bottle, and kinda our fault, we got lazy and stayed at home.
I have a couple friends that work for TJ's too and absolutely love it. Also, the employees are always so nice. I think that says a lot about a company when the employees are nice. You know they enjoy where they work :)
It's $3 buck chuck in Georgia!
I am super excited that you're back, and even more excited for this series!!
We had it for our wedding, they have a special blend that comes out in the fall that is so good so we stocked up and no one knew the difference!
